About Us: 

Peak Outfitters was started in 2023 by owner Cole Trichell. Cole got his start guiding elk hunts in western Colorado at 19. Since then he never looked back, chasing his passion across Colorado, Nebraska, West Texas and New Zealand. He decided to start his own outfit to take his passion to the next level and to provide clients with a hunting experience that he couldn’t fulfill by just being a guide. 

 

We pride ourselves in honesty and hard work. We work with many landowners to manage wildlife in a sustainable and ethical manner. This in turn, ensures success of our hunters. All of our leases and access is managed for low-impact hunting with a minimum age class to ensure success for the species. Our goal is not to take as many hunters as we can but to take a handful of conservation minded hunters with the shared goal of harvesting a mature animal not just a high scoring one.

 

We offer hunts for a handful of species in both Colorado and southwestern Nebraska. We focus our efforts on Mule Deer, Pronghorn and whitetail. Our Colorado operation is conducted across 4 GMUs with a primary focus on Mule Deer and Pronghorn. Whitetail are common but not abundant however, finding a trophy whitetail is very real possibility on your hunt. Our Nebraska operation is focused on a couple key properties where we can manage the deer and pronghorn herds closely. These hunts are very limited.
